This section includes a mapping table from LOINC scale types to FHIR data types. Based on the LOINC knowledge base documentation for Type of Scale I think that for the Narrative (Nar) type we should also allow the FHIR string data type in addition to the derived markdown data type. Many narrative observations are reported as plain text with no formatting.
