Followup to OO discussions and FMG on Supply resource ( http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=Supply_FHIR_Resource_Proposal)

Specifically IHE whitepaper which addresses this topic supply: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BzWchnBwBx3eM3ZXcUZPV284SE0/edit

As you are aware, we committed to address the topic Supply in Healthcare. This effort is initially incubated in IHE Pharmacy.
After discussions and a collection of use cases, we wish to launch the work item and invite all interested parties for early collaboration:
Attached is the working draft of the White Paper. This is an invitation for everyone to point to the use cases, concerns and any other aspects related to Supply.

This white paper is written to enable any domains interested to express their use cases, detailed or not.
You can provide just short descriptions or questions ("do you cover this scenario") and in the analysis we will develop the relevant details of the use cases.
For best collaboration, we would suggest that interested people join a "Supply" tcon to be held soon, or we can discuss in one of the regular meetings from your groups if you prefer.

After collecting the relevant use cases, we can expect the following IHE profiles to be triggered from this analysis:
      - Supply of Products for Healthcare (SPH)

o Includes description of actors and transactions

      - Order and Delivery Management (ODM)

o includes content specifications for: Order, Delivery (HL7 and GS1)

      - Healthcare Inventory Management (HIM)

o includes content specifications for Inventory Management (HL7 and GS1)

      - Healthcare Product Automatic Identification

o profiles the use of barcodes in healthcare for the uses described in the white paper.
